Mukarnas Taksim Hotel - Istanbul

The staff were genuinely great .

Unfortunately, the sound insulation in our room was quite poor, leading to disturbances from conversations in neighboring rooms and noise from the street. We often found it difficult to get a good night's sleep because of this. The bathroom facilities had issues. The sink was clogged, and despite prompt repairs, we felt the maintenance could have been more thorough.

It was in an absolutely perfect and excellent location right next to Madame Tussauds...

plenty of good options for meal. modern & budget rooms with stylish modern bathroom. particularly good area, absolutely perfect and convenient location, close enough to taksim square, the metro and istiklal st as well as all other attractions.

Staff's warmth and breakfast made mornings nice.

Brand-new and stylish room with comfortable bed and central heating, a private safe, and flat-screen TV. Clean bathrooms with a bath.

Extremely clean building and rooms with modern decoration. An amazing view of city. Unbeatable very central location, close enough to the Trams / the Airport Bus, metro station and Istiklal, and Very close to Taksim square. Tasty food in the restaurants such as Medi Sark Sofrasi, located 5 min away.

The room was nice, but the air-conditioning didn't work well .

The location near Taksim Square can't be beaten-easy access to shopping and public transport. I appreciated the cleanliness of my room, especially the comfortable bedding. Breakfast really stood out, with a nice variety offered every morning, and the service from Ayhan and Muzaffer made it enjoyable. I did hear noise from the street and nearby rooms, tough to get a good night's sleep. The gym equipment seemed outdated, as some treadmills weren't functioning. I feel the staff's efforts shined, but some improvements in sound insulation and gym maintenance would enhance the stay.

Standard Double Room offers a comfortable setup near Taksim Square, making it convenient for exploring the area.

Sound insulation is significantly lacking. Guests reported disruptions from noise on the street and neighboring rooms. Charges for minibar usage appeared without justification, causing dissatisfaction during checkout.

The fish and chips at Mukarnas Taksim are a must-try! Coupled with the excellent service from Gözde at breakfast, who remembers your favorite drinks, each morning feels like a treat. Plus, Ayhan and Muzaffer's attentive service in the restaurant ensured we were well taken care of.

A bit of a hiccup with the communication at the reception-charged extra for a twin bed even though I pre-booked it. And while the beds weren't the comfiest, I still settled in nicely after changing the sheets myself. Just a little sparkle amid the imperfections!

The location is a true gem, just steps away from the

Vibrant Taksim Square. The room was super clean and cozy, and the staff, especially Muzaffer and Ayhan, were genuinely great. One good surprise was the variety at breakfast.

The breakfast variety was excellent, showcasing local delicacies, made each morning special.

Unfortunately, the noise from the street and neighboring rooms was significant, making restful sleep difficult.

Much better than my last visit to istanbul, the staff were really good, especially the breakfast team. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the breakfast options were excellent!

I had an excellent stay! The room was bright and well-kept, much better than I expected from the photos. Breakfast options were diverse and absolutely delicious. I definitely plan to return!

The location is ideal, just a short walk to major attractions, yet nestled on a quiet street. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety, with fresh organic products. Staff were genuinely accommodating. The front desk facilitated an early check-in, and the housekeeping team consistently maintained room cleanliness. Sound insulation was noticeably lacking, leading to disturbances from outside noise, and the air-conditioning struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature .
